Anushka is an actor as well as a producer in Bollywood. She is among the highest-paid actresses and won numerous awards for her performance. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka was born to an officer who had retired. Her mother is also a homemaker. Her elder brother Karnesh Sharma was in the Merchant Navy and now is an actor. Anushka Sharma has graduated from Army School Bangalore. Anushka wanted to become a journalist or model rather than an actor. Anushka Sharma's first acting role was in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi featuring Shah Rukh Khan. To prepare for the test on screen, she took an entire day. Then she was offered three movies by Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of a younger bride to the middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the movie. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's "Badmash Company" with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film received mixed praises. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the same movie "Band Baaja Baaraat. The actress played a Punjabi woman in the middle classes who runs her own wedding business. The film was praised by critics and was widely regarded as an overnight to be a success. Anushka finished her deal of three films with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
